Meet Dr.Bellan
For over a decade, Dr. Rachel Bellan has been practicing orthodontics throughout the DFW area. Being a North Dallas resident herself, Dr. Bellan is committed to providing the highest standard of clinical excellence and patient care for her community. Dr. Bellan takes great joy in providing care to patients of all ages, finding fulfillment in addressing the orthodontic needs of both adults and children. She prides herself as being a lifelong learner and is constantly attending continuing education events to stay up to date with the latest technology and techniques.
Dr. Bellan attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate education. She then went to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While in dental school, Dr. Bellan received multiple awards which included the Pierre Fauchard Award, the American Association of Oral Biology Award, and the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award. She was also inducted into the highly esteemed Phi Beta Phi National All University Honor Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. After graduating at the top of her class, Dr. Bellan went on to complete a three-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she also earned a Masters of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Bellan is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Society of Orthodontists, and Texas Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Bellan is married to her college sweetheart and is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters: Brooke, Blake, and Vail. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, entertaining friends and family, watching college football, Pilates, skiing and playing with her French Bulldog “Hank”.
